Update: COVID-19/Coronavirus – ICEC Lye

Saturday 21st March 2020

As announced after Jumma Salah yesterday, the Trustees and Management Team at the ICEC have taken the difficult decision to cease all congregational activities at the Markhaz with immediate effect and until further notice.

This includes:

• • Jumma prayers
  • 5 Daily Salah’s
  • Teaching/Dawah classes

 

This decision has not been taken lightly. The ICEC team have been discussing the current situation surrounding Coronavirus/Covid-19 with medical experts, scholars and administrators from other Masjids and Islamic Organisations from around the UK and we believe this is a necessary step.

We stress that this is a very serious situation we are all facing and we ask that everyone takes this outbreak seriously.

Please stay tuned to the daily updates from the Government and Medical officials.

We advise our beloved attendees of the Masjid and wider community to continue to follow the required health guidelines.

Most importantly we advise everyone to return back to Allah SWT in repentance and continue to perform righteous actions.
