Eid Jamaat will take place at 10.00am Inshaa’Allah. Eid prayer will be lead by Ustaad Abdur Nasir Inshaa’Allah. Sisters are to use the entrance on Connups Way.

On Friday 18th January 2019 the ICEC purchased the ex-Salvation Army Meeting Hall on the High Street in Lye. This building is a stone’s throw from the current site and will be fully annexed into the ICEC operation. This new building will allow the ICEC to further expand its offerings to the community.
We are holding a Fiqh of Janaza Workshop on Sunday 24th March 2019, here at the ICEC for brothers. This workshop covers the basics of funeral rites and how to prepare for death, the Janaza prayer, performing Ghusl on the deceased and shrouding. It combines theoretical knowledge with practical elements. The Workshop will be conducted by Qari Zaka Ullah Saleem; Head Imam of Green Lane Masjid, Birmingham. The sisters group will be starting a Quran class on Wednesday 28th November, between 10.00am and 12.00pm. Please see the attached flyer. This was supposed to have started a couple of weeks ago but was cancelled at short notice. The transalations will be mainy given in Urdu but a short summary in English will also be given. The course will last 16 weeks. Course material will be provided. Please note that this is a sisters only event.
After the success of the sisters coffee morning a few weeks ago, the sisters team have arranged for a guest speaker to deliver a lecture in Urdu on Friday 26th October between 11.00am and 1.00pm at the Markhaz. Please Note: This is a sisters only event
The sisters coffee morning on 3rd October 2018 raised £250! This amount was split equally and donated to Macmillan Cancer Support and to the Indonesian earthquake relief effort. This was a fantastic achievement!
